I LEGO N.Y. is an imaginative look at life in New York City constructed entirely out of LEGOs. Designer and illustrator Christoph Niemann was inspired to create a series of miniature New York vignettes out of his sons' toys after a few cold and dark winter days in Berlin. The former New Yorker then posted photographs of his creations along with his handwritten captions on his New York Times blog. Resident and honorary New Yorkers around the world responded enthusiastically to the clever and minimalist inventions, which captured both the iconic (the Empire State Building) and the mundane (man standing on a subway platform) in fewer LEGO pieces than one might think possible. This book includes all of the original images, plus thirteen new creations. The resulting collection is delightful in its simplicity and moving in its ability to cature the spirit of life in New York in so few strokes. Hardcover board book, color.

SuperF*ckers collects all four fan-favorite issues of James Kochalka’s beloved series, plus the all-new Jack Krak one-shot! Foul-mouthed, filthy-minded, and completely oblivious, these young “heroes” do everything BUT fight crime – they’re too busy getting high, hazing the new kids, playing video games, scheming to be team leader, and designing new costumes. A hilariously rude look at what super-powered teens would really be like, presented with Kochalka’s signature sweetness and charm, SuperF*ckers is an over-the-top super-sitcom with its mind in the gutter and its heart on its sleeve. -- A 144-Page, Full-Color FLEXI-Cover Graphic Novel (8.5" x 8.5"), For Mature Readers (16+).

(W/A) Simon Gardenfors Swedish cartoonist/rapper Simon Gärdenfors left his home to spend four months on the road. His rules were simple: During the 120 days he wasn't allowed to return to his home, or to spend more than two nights at the same place. Otherwise, anything could happen - and it did. The result was an epic adventure across Sweden as Simon slept on strangers' couches, visited an ostrich farm, ate a psychedelic cactus, practiced free love, received death threats, was beaten up by teenagers, got adopted by a motorcycle gang, drank obscene amounts of alcohol, and sacrificed his underpants to the Nordic god Brage.

"Kindt’s fluid outlines, thick swatches of color fill-in, sleek figures, and predominant subdued duotone coloring effectively conjure the ambiguous living hell that crushes the characters’ zeal while it forces them to go on until they’re stabbed, knifed, poisoned, or shot. [Super Spy] rivals the power of the most complex and serious spy novels and films." --Booklist (starred review) "Matt Kindt's work on SUPER SPY blows my mind. The elegance of his art, juxtaposed with his rich character work and complex narrative -- is nothing short of genius. The Spy genre is so well traveled, that sometimes it feels like everything's been done before. But Matt Kindt's SUPER SPY proves that something new is always possible; if you unleash your passion, vision, and talent. Read SUPER SPY! Read 2 SISTERS! Read PISTOLWHIP! Buy Matt's art! I have.
