Meet Link and Hud—brothers causing chaos in the first of a new series for eight-to-12-year-olds from real-life brothers Jarrett and Jerome Pumphrey Lincoln and Hudson Dupré are brothers with what grown-ups call “active imaginations”. Link and Hud hunt for yetis in the Himalayas and battle orcs on epic quests. Unfortunately, their imaginary adventures wreak havoc in their real world. Dr. and Mrs. Dupré have tried every babysitter in the neighbourhood and are at their wits’ end. Enter Ms Joyce. Strict and old-fashioned, she proves to be a formidable adversary. The boys don’t like her or her rules and decide she’s got to go. Through a series of escalating events—told as high-action comic panel sequences—the brothers conspire to undermine Ms Joyce and get her fired. When they go so big that even Ms Joyce can’t fix it, suddenly she’s out. Finally, success! Or is it? With warm and authentic humour, Jarrett and Jerome Pumphrey have blended prose and graphic novel-style illustrations to craft a unique and subversive new series full of brotherly mischief and mayhem.

Laia López's fascinating new artbook. "It is amazing to explore how a colour can convey so many feelings and emotions: the freshness and freedom that we feel when admiring a marine painting; the magic and mystery given off by the purple shadows of a photograph in a hidden library; or the bright red, anger and fervour that permeates the air in the heat of a battle. I could go on, but I would rather you discovered them for yourselves through a series of tales in which you will learn the story of Iridia, the Goddess of Colours, and The Seven. The spirit of each of these characters will accompany you through a great iridescent mosaic that brings together the illustrations that I have been creating over the past few years. Crimson, Sienna, Hansa, Viridian, Marina, Prue and Vi await you between the pages of this artbook." Laia López is a Spanish artist who has more than 1.2M Instagram followers. She's internationally known for her art style and her illustrated novels, "Strawberry Moon" and "Royalty Witches", and her first artbook "Gleaming: The Art of Laia López".
