The corny, sometimes over the top, art of "B" movie posters has inspired many artists. This collection contains 280 full-color illustrations. It does not focus on the lesser cowboy and crime movies of the 1930s and 1940s, which are generally called "B" movies. Rather, it focuses on the lesser films dealing with sex, monsters, and violence which so dominated the drive-ins of the 1950s and 1960s (although some similar earlier and later films are included as well). The movies represented in this book include some of the worst films ever made, but all have great poster art and taglines. This all color collection proves how much these posters have had an effect on pop culture.
