Who is Tom Strong? The complete original series of Alan Moore and Chris Sprouse's Eisner Award-winning epic is collected in this compendium edition, now back in print!
From writer Alan Moore (Watchmen, The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen) and artist Chris Sprouse (Legion of Super-Heroes, Legionnaires) comes the chronicles of the greatest adventurer/explorer who has ever lived: Tom Strong!
Born at the dawn of the 20th century, Tomas Strong was raised by his scientist parents in a gravity chamber on a distant island to achieve physical and mental perfection. As an adult, Tom returns to America and settles in Millennium City as its resident science hero. Together with wife Dhalua, daughter Tesla, and sidekicks Pneuman and King Solomon, Tom makes it his mission to protect the city-and the universe-from all manner of bizarre threats that inhabit his retro-futuristic world.
Filled with adventure, intrigue, humor, and more, Tom Strong is a loving homage to the pulp serials of the Golden Age of comics.
This compendium collects all 36 issues of the original Tom Strong series.
