This year’s catalog for the New Art Dealer’s Alliance annual art fair in Miami, NADA, was conceived and designed by PictureBox and Project Projects. The concept is of a fair in bookform: A portable exhibition. Each gallery was asked to submit a single piece of art to the book. The accumulated images are a capsule image of contemporary art in 2008, from the studio to the marketplace. It’s a visual tour de force of ideas and styles. In tribute to Miami, the catalog is printed in just a single color – deep blue – giving the viewing experience a luminous, aquatic feel. This gorgeous souvenier is both informational and simply am gorgeous artifact.
