Minor Threats: Welcome to Twilight--Villains and Vignettes #

In Twilight City, saving the world is hard. Defending the people who try to destroy it? That's the easy part.Fresh out of law school and up to her eyeballs in debt, Jane Lagos just landed her dream job at Goldstein & King, the most powerful, most infamous and most morally flexible law firm in the country. That’s because their clients are the supervillains, criminal masterminds and the dangerously super-powered elite who treat Twilight City like it’s their playground. Jane's thrown into the deep end on her first day when she’s tasked with defending Mentallica, a reckless, mind-controlling trust fund baby whose latest scheme has landed him in Black Box, Twilight City's most notorious supermax. But when an airtight murder case starts looking suspiciously like a corporate hit, Jane realizes Goldstein & King isn’t what it seems. At this firm, innocence is immaterial, truth is whatever a jury believes, and justice belongs to the attorney that can tell the better story. In Twilight City the most dangerous superpower isn't telepathy, or super strength, or the ability to level a city block . . . It's a law degree and no conscience.• Four-issue series.
