Omschrijving
Snowtown is a collapsing urban trashzone, a nightmarish city in decay and barely held together by a skeleton precinct of three-and-a-half exhausted cops (one detective has no legs), each clinging to order while the city descends into nightmare.Into this chaos comes Detective Richard Fell, a brilliant but broken investigator exiled across the bridge and dropped into a warzone of bizarre, haunting crimes. As Snowtown is ravaged by ritualistic murders (and a deranged nun in a Nixon mask), Fell’s dogged nature becomes the city's only hope.Perfect for fans of Se7en, True Detective, and Sin City, Fell offers a tautly paced noir procedural layered with existential dread and urban horror. The atmospheric art by Ben Templesmith (30 Days of Night) paired with Warren Ellis’ (Transmetropolitan, Gun Machine, Castlevania) disquieting storytelling style creates an eerie backdrop reminiscent of the dark surrealism found in Black Mirror or the works of China Miéville and the twisted psychology of The Silence of the Lambs, Zodiac, or Mindhunter.Collects Fell issues #1-8.
